9 months

Mummy has been back at work for about 9 weeks now and you are growing up so quickly. You keep trying to go up on to all fours to crawl but haven’t quite managed it yet. You’ve got two teeth and I think we will need to go and get your hair cut very soon!

First Tooth

This week your first tooth made an appearance-which is perfect timing as you love your food. Bread especially (I think because you can hold it) garlic pitta, breadsticks and rice cakes are favourites!

Splash Splash Taking A Bath

Tonight we tested out your new bath seat-it meant you could have your first bath together which Isabelle found very amusing!

I also had some exciting news this week-I’m going to start working for Waitrose when a new store opens in a few weeks time! There’s  going to be lots of change!

Four Generations

We went to celebrate Daddy’s Birthday at Nana’s house today. We took some photos of the four generations on the Brown/Bruce side of the family. We were also celebrating my new job-instead of going back to John Lewis when my maternity leave ends I’ll be joining Waitrose. There’s a new store opening up just down the road and I’m going to be the Operations manager there-exciting changes are ahead of us!

Mother’s Day 2016

Today was my first Mothers Day as Mummy to you both. We had a lovely day-it started when Isabelle brought me a card she’d made at school and some lovely smellies too. After Isabelle’s swimming class we went to see Grandma and then on to Nana’s house for lunch. You’re eating more food now and really enjoyed Grandads mash potatos and Nana’s apple crumble!

It was world book week this week and you were able to go to school dressed as a character from a book. You went as Titchy witch from your Titchy Witch books:

Rolly Polly Jessica

You’ve learnt a new trick-rolling! You can roll from your tummy to your back and is trying very hard to roll from your back to your tummy! I don’t think it’ll be long before you’re rolling around after Isabelle!

Jessica At 4 Months

You’ve turned four months old this week. You’re generally a very happy baby and still likes your sleep-you’ve slept right through the night twice so far and are good at falling asleep in the pushchair on the way to and from school. You’re finding your hands and likes anything that rattles and crunches. We think your teeth are hurting though because you gets very red cheeks and are very dribbly! Isabelle is loving being a big sister and still get excited to see you in the morning and to show you off to people.

Jessica’s First Food

This week you’ve enjoyed a nibble on one of the rusks Santa brought you and also a biscuit!! Isabelle was unimpressed by your eating thigh and declared that she  thought you were ‘the worlds messiest eater ever!’ I’m not sure she’s seen anything yet though…

She’s also found her hands this week and has been hitting the toys on her playmat!
