You are one week old today-so far you’ve done lots of sleeping and a fair bit of eating! Daddy has taken you in to school a few times to pick up Isabelle and she has enjoyed seeing you at the end of the day.

As you would probably expect, people were super keen to meet you! We started with your grandparents and we also very quickly saw Nana Brown and Grandad Beanlands. Everybody has loved meeting you and Isabelle has been super excited that you were a girl – I think she’s got big plans for the pair of you.

Welcome to the world Jessica!
What a day! We started the day with one daughter and ended it with two! You arrived into the world at about 9:30am after a relatively frantic drive across Leicester to ensure that you were born in the hospital rather than the car…. you appeared about 30 minutes after we arrived, I didn’t even have chance to move the car (let alone Mummy changing her clothes!).
We were released at about 4pm and brought you to meet your big sister and some proud grandparents.
