Colmenar 2019

Time for a holiday!

Mummy took you back to Spain this week. Aunty Karen met us at the airport and we headed back to Jardinpanoramico in Colmenar for the week.

Spain and the house were just as gorgeous as we’d always remembered and we had a fantastic week making so many incredible memories.

Birmingham Lego Discovery & Sealife

We had a slightly earlier start today to make it to Birmingham for 10! We started at the Lego Discovery Centre where you enjoyed making various designs and playing in the soft play (as well as the brilliant 4D cinema).

Then we grabbed some lunch and carried on to the sealife centre where you and Jessica spent ages looking at the penguins!

Dinner Dates

It’s Mummy’s Birthday soon so we’ve been out for a few nice meals recently…I have to say it is feeling increasingly like being out with a couple of drunk mates these days when I take you two out and these photos evidence why I feel that way!

Keeping busy with the pox

Having the chicken pox has been rubbish but Mummy took some time off work and we kept busy making our own entertainment at home – den building, dressing up, doing crafts and getting a bit daft. It’s all helped to make you feel better and you seem to be on the mend slowly.

The Pox

Oh dear…you seem to be spotty…we knew it needed to happen soon but looks like you have a case of the chicken pox!

Judging by tonight we’re  in for a few long nights ahead – we’d better go and stock up on Calpol and itch remedies!

We’re just hoping that Isabelle doesn’t get it again seeing as she only had it quite mildly first time around.

Gym Bunny

We’re back in to our weekly gym and Jo Jingles sessions again now.

Mummy loves taking you to gym on Thursdays and Jo Jingles on Wednesday – we have so much fun and you amaze me each week with how much you learn!

Highway Rats

Mummy and Nana decided we needed some fresh air today so we headed off on a Highway Rat Trail. It had seemed like a good idea but it turned out to be absolutely freezing cold! Jessica enjoyed splashing in puddles and poking icey puddles with a big stick!

The cold didn’t seem to bother Isabelle as much though (as ever) and she loved playing on the outdoor play area even though Nana and Mummy wanted to be in the cafe with hot drinks!

Christmas The early days

Christmas Day

So today was Christmas Day – Isabelle came through  first, and half an hour late you had woken up and brought her stocking through too.

Santa had put an orange, chocolate coins, a tamagotchi toy, a soft toy elf, a mermaid pen and a chocolate orange in your stockings!

We went downstairs and discovered Santa had eaten the mince pie and drank his sherry! The carrot had also been eaten and some of Rudolph’s water had been drunk too!

You both opened lots of gifts –  you had a Thomas The Tank Engine Hornby train, set Isabelle has had a keyboard, you’ve both had a Waitrose play shop and an Amazon Alexa as well as lots of other lovely toys too!

We went round to see everyone at Nana’s house before going for lunch at Grandma and Grandad’s house!
