Fireworks

We all wrapped up warmly last night and headed out to see a fireworks display at the Loughborough University. They even had a light show that lit one of the buildings up.

Today we went to see our friends Rich and Sarah and their new baby Harry. He was 6lb 12oz even though he’s 3 weeks old which is less than either Isabelle and Jessica weighed at birth!

First Smile

You were six weeks old yesterday and after your morning bath you gave us your first proper smile. On bonfire night Grandad Williamson bought some fireworks for us to watch in his garden – although though poor grandad was out in the rain to set them off!

One Month Old

On Friday you were one month old. Four weeks has gone very quickly! Isabelle has been giving you lots of kisses and cuddles and she’s been very patient waiting around while you’ve been feeding.

It’s been Isabelle’s half term this week. She’e been learning sign language, songs, phonics, reading as well as all about the body and food.

Little Sister For A Week

You are one week old today-so far you’ve done lots of sleeping and a fair bit of eating! Daddy has taken you in to school a few times to pick up Isabelle and she has enjoyed seeing you at the end of the day.

First few days

As you would probably expect, people were super keen to meet you! We started with your grandparents and we also very quickly saw Nana Brown and Grandad Beanlands. Everybody has loved meeting you and Isabelle has been super excited that you were a girl – I think she’s got big plans for the pair of you.

Welcome to the world Jessica!

What a day! We started the day with one daughter and ended it with two! You arrived into the world at about 9:30am after a relatively frantic drive across Leicester to ensure that you were born in the hospital rather than the car…. you appeared about 30 minutes after we arrived, I didn’t even have chance to move the car (let alone Mummy changing her clothes!).

We were released at about 4pm and brought you to meet your big sister and some proud grandparents.
