It’s Panto Time…

…oh no it’s not (etc!) This afternoon we all went to the Panto at the town hall. It maintained its usual high standard with the Dame’s amazing dresses!

This year they did Jack and the Beanstalk with (in your sisters words) a real life giant! Obviously you both also came out with a new plastic light up wand…

Skating in to Christmas

You’ve both been looking forward to trying out ice skating again this year so today Mummy took you back to the Garden Centre at East Bridgeford.

Isabelle got the hang of it and was confident skating on her own.

You sat on a dolphin but right at the end of the session when the rink was clear had a go at skating on the ice just holding on to the dolphin!

It was a lot of fun! Afterwards we went for hot chocolates with Grandma and Grandad to warm up again!

We went back to the Grange Farm Christmas Barn today – it was amazing and full of beautiful decorations!

We chose some to go on a stand Mummy had bought last year and it looks lovely!

The Fair

Tonight mummy took you both to the fair – you’d been very excited about it this year.

We were in town on Wednesday and loved watching it all being set up – you had a big list of rides to go on!

You were both given £10 by Mummy and you chose to go on the big wheel, the bumper cars, a train ride and a bus ride!

Isabelle enjoyed two fun houses this year – in particular the moving steps and we all giggled when Isabelle got covered in foam at the end of one of the fun houses!

Grandma and Grandad joined us and we all had a treat chippy tea at their house afterward to warm up!

Trick Or Treat

Tonight Mummy took you trick or treating with your friend Eloisa and her sister Amelina.

You all looked a treat!

It was a lot of fun and very funny – We discovered that you were the perfect height for running in to car wing mirrors and Eloisa was very vocal about her dislike of Mowam sweets when offered them!

One house gave you home made toffee apples and you made us all laugh when you bit in to it and in a very surprised voice told everyone ‘this has got an apple in it!’

Summer Fun

We have been enjoying a fantastically hot summer but you’ve both been making the most of it in Grandma and Grandad’s Garden!

When Mummy picked you up today you’d been chasing Grandad around the garden with water guns!

I’m not sure who had the most fun you or Grandad!

Christmas Messy Church

Tonight we went to Messy Church and heard the story of Christmas.

You wanted to dress up and play but Isabelle got to decorate a gingerbread man, make a wise man out of a wooden spoon and nativity scene out of a paper envelope!

we also put the Christmas tree up this afternoon – you’re both very impressed with it!
