Official lockdown!

Due to the Coronavirus which has been sweeping the world (the first pandemic the world has experienced for a long long time) we now have to stay in the house as much as possible and school is cancelled.

You’re now spending all week at home with school setting you work to do whilst you’re here. Hopefully it won’t last too long but at the minute we jut don’t know. We’ve been trying to make the best of it by doing lots of different activities like chalking on the drive, playing with bubbles and getting the paddling pool out!

Christmas 2019

So it’s come around to this time again! You both did pretty well this year from presents from Santa on Christmas morning..

You got some MyLittlePonies for you both to share and then you got lots of things you can make like pixel art and aqua beads (along with a bit more Frozen lego to add to your collection!

You and Jessica also got matching (in style at least) hats from Chris, Karen & Frankie.

It’s Panto Time…

…oh no it’s not (etc!) This afternoon we all went to the Panto at the town hall. It maintained its usual high standard with the Dame’s amazing dresses!

This year they did Jack and the Beanstalk with (in your sisters words) a real life giant! Obviously you both also came out with a new plastic light up wand…

Skating in to Christmas

You’ve both been looking forward to trying out ice skating again this year so today Mummy took you back to the Garden Centre at East Bridgeford.

Isabelle got the hang of it and was confident skating on her own.

You sat on a dolphin but right at the end of the session when the rink was clear had a go at skating on the ice just holding on to the dolphin!

It was a lot of fun! Afterwards we went for hot chocolates with Grandma and Grandad to warm up again!

Grange Farm Christmas Barn

We went back to the Grange Farm Christmas Barn today – it was amazing and full of beautiful decorations!

We chose some to go on a stand Mummy had bought last year and it looks lovely!

The Fair

Tonight mummy took you both to the fair – you’d been very excited about it this year.

We were in town on Wednesday and loved watching it all being set up – you had a big list of rides to go on!

You were both given £10 by Mummy and you chose to go on the big wheel, the bumper cars, a train ride and a bus ride!

Isabelle enjoyed two fun houses this year – in particular the moving steps and we all giggled when Isabelle got covered in foam at the end of one of the fun houses!

Grandma and Grandad joined us and we all had a treat chippy tea at their house afterward to warm up!

Singing Reindeer

We were looking for somewhere warm and dry we could go and look around today so we went to a garden centre. They had their Christmas decorations out but your favourite thing was the singing reindeer at the front of the store – we had to go back three times to watch them!

Trick Or Treat

Tonight Mummy took you trick or treating with your friend Eloisa and her sister Amelina.

You all looked a treat!

It was a lot of fun and very funny – We discovered that you were the perfect height for running in to car wing mirrors and Eloisa was very vocal about her dislike of Mowam sweets when offered them!

One house gave you home made toffee apples and you made us all laugh when you bit in to it and in a very surprised voice told everyone ‘this has got an apple in it!’

Windmill Farm

We went to another new farm today.

It had a fantastic indoor play area with a windmill – you kept making me go in it and down the big slide!

They also had a spooky wood complete with spooky sounds that made made Mummy jump – much to your amusement!

We also fed lots of animals – Henry the Herdwick sheep, a calf, some goats and alpacas!
