Today it was Isabelle’s Mermaid Party!
There were mermaid ‘shells’ to make (paper plates that were painted), mermaid biscuits decorated party food and mermaid shells to break in to to find pearls!

Joe’s Birthday
Today Mummy took you to her friend Katie’s little boys first Birthday Party. It was a very hot day so we spent the afternoon out in her garden.
Katie’s garden backs on to the canal so we saw lots of boats going past!

Loughborough Car Show
Today it was Loughborough Car Show – there were lots of cars to look at in the town centre but you both enjoyed a ride in a little electric car too!
Afterwards we went for lunch and you showed off a new skill – pouring your own apple juice out!

Open Farm Sunday
Today we went to Bawdon Lodge Farm which is a farm just up the road from us.
They had milking demonstrations, calves for you to feed, colouring in, tractors to ride, cows to brush, a horse dressed as a unicorn, face painting and lots of other interesting things to see and do too!

Stapleford Miniature Railway
We went to the miniature railway at Stapleford Park today.
There were lots of traction engines as well as the miniature trains!

The Luminarium
We went to the Nottingham Arts Festival today to go inside something called the Luminarium. Is like a big inflatable that you can walk around inside and coloured plastic let’s rays of light through to make the whole thing glow in different colours!

We’ve had another fantastic day today-spent exploring the grounds of Sudbury Hall. We had such a great day that neither of you wanted to leave and we didn’t come away until they were closing the gates!

Holiday Countdown
Your passport has arrived so Mummy has booked our seats on the plane-still a bit of a wait until the end of the summer when we can go and stay with Aunty Karen at her house in Colmenar, Spain, but we can start to get excited now!

Today we went to a soft play centre called Jungle Madness. It had an out door beach area with a big paddling pool and sandy area, then inside there was a large soft play centre!
